Doha, July 21 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued today Amiri Decision No. 32 of 2026 to reconstitute the Board of Trustees of the Qatar National Library.
The decision stipulated the reconstitution of the board of trustees with HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani serving as Chair and HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al-Thani as Vice Chairman.
The board’s members were as follows:
1- HE Dr. Sheikha bint Abdullah Al Misnad.
2- The Secretary-General of the National Archives of Qatar.
3- Dr. Hassan Rashid Al Derham.
4- The Vice President of Qatar University for Research and Innovation.
5- A representative from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology chosen by HE the Minister of Communications and Information Technology in coordination with HE the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees.
The decision is effective from its date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette. (QNA)
