QSE Index Opens Lower at Start of Wednesday’s Trading

Doha, July 22 (QNA) – Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell by 23.44 points, or 0.23%, at the start of Wednesday’s trading, down to 10,083 points, under pressure from five sectors.
The market data showed declines in the sectors of Consumer Goods and Services (-0.18%), Industrials (-0.24%), Insurance (-0.29%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.47%), and Real Estate (-0.72%). However, performance was positive for Transportation (+0.35%) and Telecoms (+0.24%).
At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 3,931 transactions worth QR 58.618 million, distributed across 32.985 million shares. (QNA)
