Singapore, July 23 (QNA) – The Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) is organizing the third edition of its Future Leaders and Changemakers Summer Camp in Singapore, as part of QLC’s efforts to prepare a promising generation of national leaders capable of contributing to Qatar’s development aspirations.

The program runs from July 13 to 25, 2026, in collaboration with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, ranked among the top ten universities globally and a leading academic institution in public policy, leadership, and research. The program aims to equip 28 students from various Qatari universities with comprehensive insights into global changes and developments and their impact on national plans alongside enhancing their understanding of the role of public policy, leadership, and innovation in achieving the objectives of Qatar’s Third National Development Strategy.

It offers participants the opportunity to learn about the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and explore areas of cooperation between Qatar and ASEAN member states, thus broadening their horizons and enhancing their awareness of regional and international issues.

It also aims to develop teamwork and effective communication skills and enhance participants’ confidence in their ability to present ideas, visions, and initiatives in a professional and impactful manner.

The program included a diverse range of educational modules and interactive activities such as interactive discussion panels, future-oriented workshops, practical exercises and simulations, sessions with speakers and experts, group discussions, outdoor learning activities, and recreational and educational visits.

It also featured meetings with prominent figures, including HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Singapore Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki and Director-General of the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia Directorate at Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jeevan Singh.

The educational trips and field visits included several leading institutions and centers in Singapore. Participants in the summer camp also underwent two weeks of training courses conducted in Doha in collaboration with the Al Jazeera Media Institute, which included modules on The Art of Public Speaking and Protocol and Etiquette.

This program reflects the QLC’s commitment to developing young national talents and preparing future leaders by providing world-class educational experiences that combine academic knowledge with practical application, enabling participants to contribute effectively to the national development process and enhance Qatar’s presence on the international stage.
