Beijing, July 26 (QNA) Typhoon Noul made landfall in southern China, including Hong Kong, bringing strong winds and heavy rain that forced the evacuation of more than 340,000 people and led to the cancellation of dozens of flights and train services in Guangdong Province.
China’s Meteorological Administration said that the typhoon made landfall on the coast of Huidong County in Huizhou City, with winds reaching speeds of 145 kilometers per hour.
Authorities reported that more than 340,000 people were evacuated from Guangdong Province. Train services in the province were canceled, and a number of flights were suspended or canceled. The alert level was raised to its highest level in the affected areas.
Chinese authorities are continuing to monitor the typhoon’s development and are taking necessary measures to mitigate its impact and ensure the safety of residents. (QNA)
