Manila, July 26 (QNA) – Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Maria Theresa P. Lazaro met Sunday with Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi during his visit to the Philippines.
Both ministers discussed recent regional and international developments and shared perspectives on diplomatic efforts to strengthen security and stability, as well as achieving peace.
The two sides underlined the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation to ensure freedom of navigation and safety, as well as the security of supply chains through maritime and commercial lanes.
Both sides also addressed bilateral cooperation and avenues for strengthening the bilateral partnership in a variety of domains of shared interest to help achieve the mutual interests of the two nations. (QNA)
