Moscow, July 26 (QNA) – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that it had targeted two additional cargo ships transporting military supplies for Ukrainian forces in the south of the country.

The ministry explained in a statement today that attack drones targeted two cargo ships at the mouth of the Dnieper-Bug River.

It added that an industrial facility producing smart systems, which manufactures various models of drones and their components, including airframes, electronic components for long- and medium-range drones, navigation equipment, optics, and batteries, was targeted. It also noted that her forces bombed a drone assembly and storage site in the southwestern part of Kyiv.

Russia had previously announced targeting four Ukrainian ships transporting military cargo to the ports of Chornomorsk and Odesa in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported that Russian forces launched attacks on Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv, resulting in casualties.

It is also worth mentioning that Russia has escalated its targeting of Ukrainian naval facilities in recent weeks, particularly in the south, while Kyiv has increasingly relied on surprise drone attacks, which have on several occasions managed to reach and damage Russian oil facilities. (QNA)
