UK Prime Minister Pledges Unwavering Support for Ukraine

London, July 27 (QNA) – UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has reaffirmed Britain’s “unwavering” support for Ukraine ahead of a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Speaking in an interview with the BBC, Burnham said the UK’s backing for Ukraine remained “100% committed” and would not waver.

The remarks came as the Prime Minister’s Office announced that Britain will share the intellectual property behind its new Stone Cloak electronic warfare system with Ukraine, enabling Kyiv to manufacture the technology on a large scale.

The tablet-sized jamming devices are designed to prevent drones equipped with the system from being detected. The UK Ministry of Defense has already supplied thousands of the devices to Ukrainian forces to enhance their drone operations.

Downing Street said the technology, after being deployed in Ukraine, will also be incorporated into the next generation of Britain’s long-range weapons.

The system is expected to be integrated into Project Brakestop, a government program to develop low-cost cruise missiles capable of self-guided flight for most of their missions, in a manner similar to conventional aircraft. (QNA)
