Occupied Jerusalem, July 28 (QNA) – Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the Al Aqsa Mosque compound on Tuesday under the protection of Israeli occupation police.
According to the Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA), citing local sources, 176 settlers entered the mosque compound during the morning hours and performed Talmudic rituals and other provocative acts in its courtyards.
The incident is part of a series of repeated incursions into Al Aqsa in recent months, amid Israeli efforts to erase Jerusalem’s Islamic and historical identity and implement plans to divide the site temporally and spatially. (QNA)
