Brussels, July 28 (QNA) – European shares rose for a third straight session on Tuesday, boosted by strong results from Unilever that lifted consumer stocks.
The pan-European STOXX 600 gained 0.4% to close at 646.89 points.
Unilever shares jumped 8%, marking their biggest one-day gain in four years and helping lift London’s FTSE 100 by 0.8%.
Mercedes-Benz shares advanced 2.9% after the German automaker reported a 22% rise in quarterly operating profit. (QNA)
