Prime Minister Receives South Sudanese President’s Security Adviser

Khartoum, 29 July 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris on Wednesday received Tut Gatluak, Security Adviser to the President of the Republic of South Sudan, and his accompanying delegation in Khartoum. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen and further develop bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as issues of mutual interest. The two sides underscored the importance of expanding cooperation, particularly in the economic sphere, and stressed the need for closer political coordination in the interest of the peoples of Sudan and South Sudan. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister’s Adviser, Nizar Abdullah Mohamed; the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Ali Mohamed Ali; the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Muawia Othman Khalid; and Sudan’s Ambassador to the Republic of South Sudan, Lieutenant General Essam Karrar.BH/BH
