Amman, July 30 (QNA) – Jordanian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed five missiles fired from Iran toward the Kingdom early Thursday.
The interception was carried out with efficiency and professionalism, thwarting the attempt to target the Kingdom’s territory. No casualties were reported, the Jordanian Armed Forces said in a statement.
The statement reaffirmed that the Armed Forces remain fully committed to safeguarding the Kingdom’s airspace and preserving its security and sovereignty. It will not tolerate any threat targeting the Kingdom’s security or the safety of its citizens. (QNA)
