Amman, Aug. 2 (Petra) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign
Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi held a phone call on Sunday with
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Farhan bin Faisal Al Saud as part of
ongoing coordination regarding efforts to enhance regional security
and stability.
The two ministers discussed regional developments, the importance of
coordinating positions, and efforts to de-escalate and restore calm.
They emphasized the need to address all actions that threaten
regional security to ensure the restoration of freedom of maritime
navigation in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea while mitigating the
crisis’s negative impacts on the region.
