Amman, August 4 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi received UN High
Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk on Tuesday.
Safadi and Türk discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between
Jordan and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for
Human Rights.
They also reviewed regional developments, the repercussions of the
ongoing escalation, and efforts to end it, restore calm, and achieve
lasting security and stability.
