Amman, Aug. 4 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
totaled JD14.5 million Tuesday, with 6.7 million shares changing
hands through 4,321 transactions.
The general share price index fell to 3,987 points, down 0.31
percent.
The financial sector index dropped 0.50 percent and the industrial
sector index declined 0.25 percent, while the services sector index
rose 0.35 percent.
Of the 107 companies traded, 41 posted gains in their share prices
compared with previous closes, while 39 saw declines.
