House Committee, UAE Diplomat Discuss Cooperation

Amman, August 5 (Petra) – The Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee
met Wednesday with UAE Embassy Chargé d’Affaires in Amman Hamad Al
Matrooshi to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across
various fields.

According to a committee statement, Committee Chairman MP Haitham
Ziyadin said Jordanian-Emirati relations are rooted in long-standing
coordination, mutual trust, and shared interests. He noted that
bilateral cooperation supports joint Arab efforts to address regional
challenges.

Ziyadin highlighted the UAE’s support for Jordan, citing Emirati
investments and development projects that have contributed to
economic growth, job creation, and development across several
sectors.

Al Matrooshi stressed the UAE’s commitment to expanding cooperation
with Jordan and building on existing partnerships to advance mutual
interests.

Committee members MPs Mohammad Sabayleh and Ali Ghazawi described the
countries’ long-standing ties as a basis for further coordination and
cooperation across various fields.
