Jordan Condemns Houthi Attack on Civilian Targets in Saudi Arabia

Amman, Aug. 7 (Petra)– Jordan condemned an attack carried out by the
Houthi militia against civilian targets in the Saudi city of Najran
using indiscriminate projectiles, which resulted in several civilians
being injured.

The attack constitutes a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s
sovereignty and a threat to its security, stability and territorial
integrity, as well as a flagrant breach of international law and the
United Nations Charter, the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates
Affairs said in a statement.

The ministry reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia
and its support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its
sovereignty, security and the safety of its citizens and residents.
