Ajloun, Aug. 9 (Petra) — The Development Zones Department announced
that the third edition of the Ajloun Cable Car Summer Festival 2026
will begin next Thursday.

Director General of Development Zones Reem Sahawneh said in a
statement on Sunday that the festival underscores the growing status
of Ajloun Cable Car as one of Jordan’s leading tourist destinations,
after becoming a major attraction for adventure, nature, and family
activities, while also contributing to tourism activity, supporting
the local community, and advancing development in Ajloun Governorate.

Ajloun Development Zone Director Tareq Maaytah said the festival will
continue through August 22 and feature a diverse program of artistic
and theatrical performances, recreational activities, and family
events, offering visitors a distinctive summer experience and
strengthening Ajloun’s position as one of the Kingdom’s leading
tourist destinations during the summer season.

The Jordan Free and Development Zones Group announced a 25 percent
discount on Ajloun Cable Car tickets for Jordanians and foreign
visitors throughout the festival, except on Fridays and Saturdays, in
addition to a range of recreational events and activities suitable
for all family members.

The group invited citizens, residents, and tourists to visit Ajloun
Cable Car during the festival and enjoy its natural scenery, diverse
activities, and performances.
