Jordanian Armed Forces Evacuate 30th Batch of Sick Children from Gaza for Treatment in Kingdom

Amman, August 10 (Petra) The Jordanian Armed Forces–Arab Army on
Monday evacuated the 30th batch of sick children from the Gaza Strip
for treatment in the Kingdom.

The batch comprised 50 patients accompanied by 78 family members. The
evacuation was carried out as part of the Jordanian Medical Corridor
initiative and in implementation of Royal directives.

The children will receive treatment at several Jordanian hospitals as
part of the Kingdom’s ongoing medical and humanitarian efforts to
provide healthcare and essential support to the people of Gaza.

The evacuations, which began in March 2025, are being carried out in
cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the World Health
Organisation (WHO), within a comprehensive humanitarian framework and
in accordance with approved health standards and procedures.

The efforts reaffirm the humanitarian role of the Hashemite Kingdom
of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in
supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering,
particularly amid the difficult humanitarian conditions in the Gaza
Strip.
