Amman, Aug. 12 (Petra) — The Capital Governorate Youth Directorate
celebrated International Youth Day on Wednesday at the Amman Youth
Hostel, with the participation of youth leaders, heads of local
sports clubs and youth centers, and civil society representatives.
Director of Capital Governorate Youth Directorate Tamer Nsoor
highlighted the vital role young people play in national development
and building the future. He emphasized the Ministry of Youth’s
commitment to empowering youth, building their skills, and fostering
an environment that encourages active civic participation across
various fields.
The celebration featured presentations underscoring the importance of
youth work and the vital support provided by local institutions.
At the conclusion of the event, commemorative plaques and gifts were
presented to partner organizations in recognition of their
contributions to youth programs in the capital.
