One Martyred, Two Injured in Israeli Strike on Gaza

Amman, Aug. 13 (Petra)– Gaza Police Chief Colonel Jamal Mahmoud Abu
Kmeil was killed Thursday evening when an Israeli strike targeted his
vehicle on Al-Rashid Street, southwest of Gaza City.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said its ambulance crews transported one
casualty and several injured people to Al-Shifa Hospital in western
Gaza City following the Israeli strike on a vehicle in the area.

Local Palestinian media reported that Israeli aircraft targeted the
vehicle with three missiles, killing Abu Kmeil instantly and injuring
two of his aides. The vehicle was completely engulfed in flames.

The strike came amid continued Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza
Strip.

Earlier Thursday, a motorcycle was targeted in the Bani Aml area west
of Khan Younis, killing one person and injuring another. The casualty
and the injured person were taken to Nasser Hospital.
