Kingdom to See Typical Summer Weather Through Sunday – JMD

Amman, Aug. 14 (Petra)– The Kingdom will experience typical summer
weather across most areas today through Sunday, with relatively hot
conditions in the Badia and hot weather in the Jordan Valley, Dead
Sea and Aqaba. Low-level clouds are expected to appear over parts of
the northern and central regions, while northwesterly winds will be
moderate, occasionally picking up.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures
will drop slightly on Monday, with typical summer conditions
continuing in most areas. The weather will remain relatively hot in
the Badia and hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Northwesterly winds will be moderate, occasionally becoming active.

Today, temperatures in eastern Amman will range between 32 C and 24
C, and in western Amman between 30 C and 21 C. The highs and lows
will be 28 C and 19 C in the northern highlands, 29 C and 18 C in the
Sharah Mountains, 35 C and 22 C in the Badia, and 32 C and 20 C in
the plains.

In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will reach 39 C, with a
low of 25 C, while the southern Jordan Valley will see 42 C and 27 C.
The Dead Sea will record 41 C and 27 C, while Aqaba will reach 42 C,
with a low of 28 C.
