The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received on Monday at the Republican Palace the credentials of the Saudi Ambassador Dr. Zaid bin Mukhlad bin Zaid Al-Harbi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Sudan, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salem.  The Saudi ambassador explained in a press statement that he conveyed to the TSC President the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prime Minister, and their wishes to the government and people of Sudan for continued security, stability, progress and prosperity. The ambassador stressed the depth of the brotherly and historical relations between the two brotherly countries, reiterating the Kingdom’s keenness to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two countries and support their aspirations towards more stability and development. He added: “I look forward to working with the Sudanese leadership and government to enhance communication and coordination and push the paths of joint cooperation to wider horizons, in line with the depth of relations between the two countries and the common ties and interests that unite them.” The Saudi ambassador pointed out that the next phase holds wide opportunities for more cooperation and joint work, saying: “We will work to continue and invest in them in order to strengthen Sudanese-Saudi relations, and open wider areas for partnership in various sectors, in order to achieve the aspirations of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries and peoples.”BH/BH
