Amman, Aug. 14 (Petra)– France on Friday strongly condemned Israeli
settlers’ takeover of several Palestinian homes in the occupied West
Bank town of Qusra, calling on Israel to arrest and prosecute those
responsible.
In a statement carried by France 24, the French Foreign Ministry said
France “strongly condemns” the takeover of Palestinian homes in
Qusra, as well as the violence committed against Palestinian
civilians.
The ministry called on the Israeli authorities to “arrest the
perpetrators and bring them to justice.”
The statement came on the same day that Israel reopened a settlement
in the northern occupied West Bank, more than 20 years after it was
dismantled.
