Kuwait, August 15 (QNA) – The State of Kuwait on Saturday expressed condemnation and strong rejection of the escalating attacks by extremist settlers in the occupied West Bank, including systematic violence against innocent civilians.
In a statement today, Kuwaiti foreign ministry stressed that such attacks are a continuation of the Israeli occupation’s policies of escalating violence against the brotherly Palestinian people and constitute a blatant violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions.
It affirmed that these attacks reflect the Israeli occupation’s approach of enabling extremist settlers to continue their violations and crimes against the brotherly Palestinian people under the protection of occupation forces, undermining prospects for achieving peace.
It called on the international community to take urgent action to halt these attacks and hold those responsible accountable.
Kuwait reiterated its firm position in support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. (QNA)
