Social Security, Nashama Forum discuss services for Jordanians abroad

Amman, August 17 (Petra) – The Social Security Corporation (SSC) and
the Nashama Forum for Jordanian Diaspora held their annual meeting on
Monday to review the concerns of Jordanians living abroad and explore
ways to streamline their access to social security benefits.

SSC Director General Hazim Rahahleh pointed to the corporation’s
commitment to maintaining open channels with expatriate communities,
simplifying subscription payments, and making benefit tracking more
accessible.

To address specific challenges faced by Jordanian expatriates, forum
founder Ayman Rifai submitted several key proposals. These included
creating installment plans for merging civil and military service
periods, establishing simplified payment options, offering
specialized educational resources, and setting up dedicated
communication channels between the corporation and expatriate
representatives.

Rahahleh stated that the SSC will study the proposals to enhance
social protection for Jordanians abroad, announcing that new
communication mechanisms will be launched soon to raise awareness of
social security laws and benefits.

The Nashama Forum praised the collaborative partnership and stated
their commitment to supporting future awareness initiatives across
international communities.
