New York, Aug. 18 (Petra) – The UN warned on Tuesday that Houthi
attacks on Saudi Arabia risk pulling Yemen “deeper” into regional
conflict during a period of mounting pressure on energy flows and
trade.
UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stressed the need to halt attacks
and threats against commercial shipping, calling for “full respect”
for freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
