Salt, Aug 19 (Petra) – The 33rd Al-Fuheis Festival (Jordan: History
and Civilization) runs from August 26 to August 31, 2026, under the
patronage of HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal.
The program features evening concerts, cultural seminars, children’s
activities, and historical exhibitions.
The festival pursues a long-standing cultural and artistic tradition
solidifying Jordan as a thought and creativity hub, said Ayman
Samawi, President of the Al-Fuhais Youth Club and Festival Director.
He said the festival’s management has put in place a comprehensive
and diverse program that meets the aspirations of the Jordanian and
Arab public, including a rich cultural and intellectual program that
addresses contemporary issues and celebrates national figures.
Samawi said the festival believes culture is the bridge connecting
the past to the future, and that “it is the most wonderful arena to
express the values of love, peace, and diversity that characterize
Jordanian society.”
The events include artistic and musical evenings featuring a
selection of Jordanian and Arab artists, as well as programs for
children and families that blend entertainment and education.
Heritage and craft exhibitions will also be held, highlighting
national identity, said organizers.
