Doha, August 19 (QNA) – Al Gharafa Club announced on Wednesday the signing of Cameroonian player Frank Magri, adding him to the first-team squad on a two-season contract, in preparation for the 2026-27 sports season.
The club posted on its official account on the “X” platform, accompanied by a photo of the player, saying that Frank Magri strengthens their first team’s attack for two seasons.
Magri played for French club Toulouse after joining from Bastia in July 2023, before ending his stint with the team at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season and moving to Al Gharafa.
Magri’s move to Al Gharafa comes as part of efforts to strengthen the squad and add players capable of making a technical contribution ahead of the new season.
Al Gharafa will begin its Qatar Stars League campaign against Al Shahaniya the day after tomorrow, Friday, at Khalifa International Stadium.
The team will seek to continue its strong run after competing for the league title last season and finishing fourth, before winning the Amir Cup for the second consecutive time. (QNA)
