Amman, Aug. 20 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD9.2 million on Thursday, as 3.4 million shares changed
hands through 3,540 transactions.
The ASE general price index closed at 3,997 points, down 0.14%,
against the last session.
Of the 111 companies traded, share prices of 41 companies rose, while
37 others declined, compared with their previous closing prices.
By sector, the industrial and financial indexes fell 0.60% and 0.03%,
respectively, while the services benchmark remained flat.
