Amman, Aug. 20 (Petra) –Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has
issued tenders to purchase either 100,000 or 120,000 tonnes of barley
and the same quantities of wheat.
In its announcement, the ministry invited interested bidders to
obtain tender documents, including terms and specifications, from its
Tenders Department for a non-refundable fee of JD650.
The ministry said the deadline for barley bids is 2 p.m. next
Wednesday, while wheat bids are due next Thursday.
On eligibility, the ministry requires bidders to submit a copy of a
valid vocational license and a certified copy of their commercial
registration issued no more than 30 days ahead of the bid opening
date.
