Amman to Host 4th International Food and Food Tech Exhibition in September

AMMAN, Aug. 22 (Petra) — The fourth edition of the International
Food and Food Tech Exhibition is set to kick off on September 4 at
the Amman International Motor Show on the Airport Road, drawing
approximately 200 local, regional, and international companies
specializing in food manufacturing.

Held under the patronage of Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply
Yarub Qudah, the three-day event brings together global and domestic
leaders in food and beverage production, industry technologists,
policymakers, and representatives from international food
organizations.

Organized by Nabd International for Exhibitions and Conferences, the
exhibition focuses on pressing challenges in the food processing
sector, with a primary emphasis on regional food security, technical
solutions, automated production lines, and supply chain
sustainability.

Exhibiting firms hail from 25 countries alongside Jordan, including
Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar,
Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, India,
Sri Lanka, India, Turkey, and Sri Lanka.

The showcase spans diverse sectors, including food and beverages,
dairy, meats, frozen foods, ingredients, flavorings, spices,
processing machinery, packaging, cold chain logistics, hospitality
services, and food tech solutions.

Organizers noted that the exhibition serves as a premier professional
platform for forging strategic partnerships and exploring new avenues
for regional and global industrial growth.

Anoud Jarrar, General Manager of Nabd International, stated that the
event underscores the critical importance of domestic food
localization and processing–lessons reinforced by global crises such
as the COVID-19 pandemic. She emphasized that the exhibition provides
local agricultural producers and food processors with invaluable
networking opportunities to connect with potential importers across
neighboring markets like Palestine, Syria, and Iraq.

Jarrar highlighted that food manufacturing stands as a priority
sector within Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision due to its
pivotal role in driving food security, boosting exports, and
generating employment.

Running parallel to the exhibition, the Smart Food Manufacturing and
Food Security Conference will bridge academic research with
industrial application by gathering researchers, corporate
executives, and technology innovators.
