Amman, August 23 (Petra) – An Israeli airstrike targeted a home in
central Gaza, killing a Palestinian child and injuring five others on
Sunday, according to medical sources.
The Israeli attack generated “extensive” damage to surrounding
structures and civilian casualties.
Earlier Sunday, Israeli occupation forces’ airstrikes and gunfire
killed two Palestinians and wounded two others in separate incidents
across central and southern Gaza.
Health authorities report that the overall casualties in Gaza since
Oct. 7, 2023, rose to 73,420 killed and 174,369 injured.
