Beirut, August 24 (Petra) – Israeli occupation forces shelled and set
fire to homes in the southern Lebanese town of Al Mansouri in the
Tyre district on Monday, according to a Lebanese security source.
Israeli soldiers also advanced into the western outskirts of Meiss El
Jabal amid heavy artillery shelling and machine-gun fire. Military
bulldozers demolished a temporary school complex in the town, while
Israeli troops rigged several homes with explosives.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said emergency crews
recovered the bodies of two young men who were killed by Israeli
forces in Dawhet Kfar Rumman.
