Amman, Aug. 26 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD17.4 million on Wednesday, as 10.0 million shares traded
through 6,451 transactions.
The ASE general price index rose to 4,017 points, up 0.18 percent,
against the last performance.
Of the 112 companies whose shares were traded, 43 recorded gains,
while 35 declined, compared with their previous closing prices.
At the sectoral level, the industrial and services indexes rose 0.73%
and 0.50%, while the financial index fell 0.11%.
