Jordan Claims Six Medals at Arab Youth Muay Thai Championship

Amman, Aug. 27 (Petra) — The national youth Muay Thai team won six
medals at the Arab Youth Championship in Benghazi, Libya, finishing
the competition with two golds, two silvers and two bronzes.

Al-Rayan Izmqna secured one of Jordan’s two gold medals in the 63.5kg
category for the 16-17 age group, while Ward Odeh claimed gold in the
48kg competition for athletes aged 12-13.

Nour Awad earned silver in the girls’ 51kg category for ages 14-15,
while Adam Shreim added another silver in the boys’ 67kg event for
the 16-17 age group.

Jordan’s two bronze medals came through Tala Al-Bazm in the 51kg
category and Munther Hamad in the 60kg event, both competing in the
16-17 age group.

The tournament, which concluded Wednesday, brought together around
300 male and female athletes from 13 Arab countries.

Competitions were held at the Expo Libya exhibition grounds in
Benghazi.
