Amman, Aug. 28 (Petra)– A Palestinian was killed and others were
injured on Friday evening when Israeli occupation forces shelled a
tent housing displaced people in the Al-Mashahara area, east of Gaza
City.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), citing local sources, reported
that the body of one Palestinian and several injured people were
taken to Al-Shifa Medical Complex following the strike on the
overcrowded tent.
The latest attack brings the number of Palestinians killed in Israeli
attacks across Gaza since dawn on Friday to five.
Israeli forces have continued airstrikes and artillery shelling on
various areas of Gaza City, with artillery fire particularly
targeting the eastern and northern parts of the city.
