Amman, Aug. 31 (Petra) — Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs
Ayman Safadi received a phone call Monday from Bahraini Foreign
Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and discussed the two
countries’ ties.
They exchanged views on regional developments, the repercussions of
the ongoing escalation and efforts to restore calm and promote
security and stability in the region.
Safadi and Al Zayani condemned the Iranian attacks on Jordan.
Al Zayani said that Bahrain stands in solidarity with Jordan and
supports all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security
and stability, as well as the safety of its citizens.
The two ministers discussed issues of mutual interest and prospects
for enhancing cooperation and coordination to maintain regional
security and stability and strengthen joint Arab action.
