Doha, September 01 (QNA) – HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met today with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Ayman Safadi who is currently visiting the country.
The meeting dealt with discussing cooperation relations between the two countries and the ways to support and strengthen them. It also dealt with the latest regional developments, particularly the diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to reduce escalation and enhance security and stability in the region.
During the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar’s support for all diplomatic efforts and endeavors aimed at a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for reaching a comprehensive agreement that achieves sustainable peace in the region.
