Amman, Oct. 5 (Petra) – The Housing and Urban Development Corporation
(HUDC) said on Monday it received 2,539 applications for its
subsidized housing finance program during a one-month application
window that closed on September 30.
The Cabinet-approved initiative helps low-income families secure
subsidized financing to buy, build, or expand a home through
accredited lenders, the agency told Petra.
The four-year program seeks to assist 1,000 families, selecting 250
applicants annually based on approved eligibility standards.
HUDC specialized committees, including screening, qualification, and
audit teams, began reviewing and verifying applications to ensure a
transparent, organized evaluation process.
