of Commerce, Industry, Investment Promotion Meets British Counterpart
London,
21 Oct 2026 (ONA) — Anwar Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and
Investment Promotion, met today in the British capital, London, with Lord Anas
Sarwar, Minister of State for Trade at the Department for Business, Innovation,
Science and Trade in the United Kingdom.
The
meeting was held within the framework of the state visit paid by His Majesty
Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the United Kingdom.
During
the meeting, trade and investment relations between the Sultanate of Oman and
the friendly United Kingdom were discussed, alongside ways to develop and grow
them in sectors of mutual interest. Both sides also explored means of
encouraging mutual investments to support commercial exchange and enhance
partnership prospects between the two friendly countries.
