Ramallah, Oct. 23 (Petra)– Two Palestinians were killed in Hebron,
south of the occupied West Bank, on Friday following an armed clash
with Israeli occupation forces.
The Israeli army radio announced that the two Palestinians were
behind a shooting attack targeting a military checkpoint in the Farsh
al-Hawa area in central Hebron.
The shooting, which targeted a military watchtower, left two Israeli
soldiers dead and four others injured, including two in critical
condition, according to the Israeli army radio.
Israeli forces dispatched military reinforcements to the area and
imposed a security cordon. They also closed all entrances and exits
to the Hebron Governorate.
