Amman, Oct. 23 (Petra)– His Majesty King Abdullah II said that those
responsible for the terrorist attack in Karak would face the harshest
penalties, stressing that attempts to divide Jordanians through acts
of treachery would fail in the face of their resilience and unity.
“Those who thought that treacherous bullets could divide Jordanians
have failed in the face of our steadfastness and unity,” His Majesty
said in a post on X.
His Majesty emphasized that all Jordanians, from the north to the
south of the Kingdom, are united by their shared land and common
stance, and that no act of treachery could drive a wedge between
them.
His Majesty extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of
those killed in the attack and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
“The blood of every Jordanian is precious, and we will strike with an
iron fist anyone who dares to harm this country,” he said.
