Amman, Mar. 16 (Petra)–The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) denied any negative repercussions on the Jordanian banking sector due to the financial conditions of the US Silicon Valley and Signature Banks.
In a statement on Thursday, CBJ said in light of the bank’s “close” follow-up of the conditions of the U.S. Silicon Valley and Signature Banks and banks operating in the Kingdom, data showed Jordanian banks did not own any deposits, investments, or financial transactions at the two U.S. banks.
