Riyadh, May 25, 2023, SPA — The Public Prosecution Council, headed by Attorney General Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujib, has endorsed the establishment of the “Tourism Prosecution Office.”
The newly established law-enforcement entity will be headquartered at Public Prosecution and its affiliated offices at the Kingdom’s international and provincial airports.
The Public Prosecution said that, in light of the rise in number of tourists and visitors to the Kingdom, the Tourism Prosecution Office was established to settle travelers’ cases and address their complaints in a prompt manner at airports.
The public prosecution offices directly report to the Attorney General and are run by qualified cadre who have been trained and equipped with the necessary skills in accordance with the highest standards of legal competence in a way that guarantees tourists full protection of their rights in the Kingdom.
