Amman, Nov. 13 (Petra) – The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced “readiness” of its operations rooms to receive reports and feedbak from citizens around the clock to deal with any emergency related with the unstable weather conditions set to affect the Kingdom Thursday through Saturday.
The ministry said the operations rooms, established at its headquarters and all its directorates nationwide, have specialized technical teams, as well as 110 field crews supported by 135 government vehicles, 20 snowplows, and 190 vehicles from the private sector to ensure a “rapid response to any emergency requiring immediate intervention.”
In a statement, the ministry also confirmed its “preparedness” to deal with weather-related conditions, adding that its emergency rooms are operating nonstop.
Urging citizens to contact the main operations room via the number (06/5850111), the ministry said observations can also be reported through the emergency hotline numbers located in all governorates or via the unified number (106) from any landline or mobile phone.
