Amman, Feb. 4 (Petra) — Jordan Export organized the Kingdom’s pavilion at the 49th edition of the Baghdad International Fair, currently underway in the Iraqi capital and is scheduled to run through February 7.
According to a company statement issued on Wednesday, the pavilion features participation of 30 Jordanian industrial and service companies representing several sectors.
The company added that firms, which are mainly operating in the industries of food, packaging, engineering, chemicals, detergents, cosmetics, construction, manufacturing, and paper, are taking part in the event.
The company said the presence highlights “quality and diversity of Jordanian products and their competitiveness in regional markets.”
Iraqi Minister of Trade Atheer Ghurairi inaugurated the Jordanian pavilion, attended by President of Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry Fathi Jaghbir, Jordan’s Ambassador to Baghdad Maher Tarawneh, and members of the Jordanian Embassy.
