Al-Salt, Jan. 7 (Petra) – The Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sakarya University of Turkey on Tuesday to enhance academic and research cooperation between the two institutions.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Ahmad Fakhri Ajlouni, ABU President, and Dr. Hamza Al, President of Sakarya University.
Dr. Ajlouni emphasized that this agreement is part of the university’s strategy to develop international relations and expand scientific collaboration to support its goals of academic leadership and innovation.
He noted that the cooperation with Sakarya University reflects Al-Balqa’s commitment to providing a comprehensive educational environment for students and faculty members and strengthens its ability to contribute to sustainable development locally and internationally.
For his part, Dr. Al expressed his pride in this partnership, commending the pioneering role of Al-Balqa Applied University in the fields of applied education and scientific research.
The MoU includes cooperation in several areas, including the exchange of faculty members and students, organizing joint academic and training programs, and developing research projects.
Additionally, it aims to enhance cooperation in engineering, technology, and humanities.
