Amman, Jan. 7 (Petra) – The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) wrapped up training programs held at its headquarters, implemented in cooperation with several national partners for workers in the Kingdom’s economic and service sectors.

According to an ACC statement issued on Wednesday, these programs were carried out as part of the chamber’s role in building professional capacities and providing practical training for the workers in the target sectors.

The ACC added that the initiative also aimed to develop human resources skills in line with labor market demands and the outcomes of Jordan’s economic modernization.

Additionally, the activities reflect the ACC’s “commitment” to strengthening institutional partnerships and cooperation with national institutions.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, ACC Chairman, Khalil Haj Tawfiq, stated this event underscores investing in human capital is the key pillar in developing the labor market and enhancing its efficiency.

Haj Tawfiq noted “quality” training that meets the needs of the economic sectors has become a national necessity to boost productivity and competitiveness of the national economy.

“The chamber is proud of the participation of several Public Security Directorate (PSD) personnel in training programs implemented in cooperation with the German Jordanian University,” he pointed out.

In this context, he said these police personnel demonstrated “high” commitment and academic and professional discipline, which led to outstanding achievements that placed them among the top participants.

“This high-quality participation reflects the level of PSD’s institutional and professional development and its role as a national partner in building competencies and enhancing skills,” he said.

The chamber, he noted, is “keen” to build strategic partnerships with academic and training institutions to implement practical programs that contribute to turning training into action and achievement.

Affirming appreciation for the partners and training staff, he cited the chamber’s commitment to continuing to implement ad hoc programs in line with the national vision for development, youth empowerment, and raising the efficiency of human resources.
