Amman, Aug. 10 (Petra) — Al-Hussein Irbid will take on Uzbekistan’s
Pakhtakor at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Uzbekistan in a playoff for a place in
the 2026-2027 AFC Champions League Elite.
The Jordanian club will complete its preparations on Monday evening
ahead of the decisive fixture, as it seeks a victory that would
secure its place in Asia’s top-tier continental club competition.
Al-Hussein Irbid, Jordan’s representative in the playoff, has been
holding a training camp in Uzbekistan since Aug. 2 to acclimatize to
local conditions and prepare for the match.
The team is led by Jordanian head coach Ahmed Hayel, who will oversee
the final training session on Monday before Tuesday’s encounter.
