Beijing, 11-2-2026 (SUNA) – Ambassador Omar Issa presented on Wednesday a copy of his credentials to the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Mr. Hong Li, as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the People’s Republic of China, in the presence of the Deputy Director-General of the Directorate of West Asia and North Africa at the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jiang Fang Nining, alongside members of the Sudanese Embassy in Beijing.The ceremony took place in a friendly atmosphere reflecting the strong ties of friendship and constructive cooperation between Sudan and China, based on mutual respect.Both sides emphasized their commitment to strengthening bilateral partnership and advancing it across various fields of mutual interest, serving the interests of both countries and their peoples.President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) had directed Ambassador Issa, during a recent meeting with him before his departure to Beijing, to upgrade and develop Sudanese-Chinese relations, praising the advanced level they have reached.Ambassador Omar Issa affirmed that Sudanese-Chinese relations are strategically important and enjoy high-level support from the leadership of both countries. He pledged to exert his utmost efforts to develop and strengthen these relations for the benefit of the peoples of Sudan and China.BH/BH
